Prostate cancer - Goserelin

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide and the leading cancer in men in Europe and North America.

Hormonal therapy with Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) analogs is one of the standard treatments for prostate cancer, blocking the hormones that can cause the cancer to grow. One of the most prescribed LHRH analogs in Europe is Zoladex® (goserelin) with reported 2007 worldwide sales of $US1.1B (+10% year-over-year growth).

Ambrilia has developed a novel goserelin formulation of the 3-month release version of the original product, which could potentially be the first-to-market.

Clinical development

Clinical testing in patients is ongoing.
